Dr. Shannon Paul, BSc., DC

Dr. Shannon Paul is a 1997 graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She has been in the Whistler-Pemberton area for 23 years and loves the family chiropractic practice she has developed.  She has been the owner of Pemberton Valley Wellness since 2008, and feels blessed to live in Pemberton.  When she isn’t at the office, you may catch Dr. Paul out with her daughter and her Chocolate Lab having fun, running, skiing Black comb, hitting the mountain bike trails or maybe even paddle boarding!

Dr. Paul takes a particular interest in pediatrics and pregnancy. Educating the community about the importance of chiropractic for children is one of Dr. Paul’s many goals. She enjoys being an outreach speaker for Health and Pregnancy. She is the Vice President of the APE, École La Vallée and previous Co Chair of Growing Great Children.

Dr. Scott Nicol, B.Sc., D.C.

Dr. Scott Nicol recently moved to the Sea to Sky Corridor from Calgary, AB where he had been practicing for over 7 years. Originally from Kelowna, BC, his love for the outdoors began at a young age through skiing, biking, running, golfing and water sports. The close proximity to recreational activities and a slower pace of life drove the move to BC from Alberta. 

 Dr. Scott obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. During that time, Dr. Scott had the privilege of competing as a varsity Track and Field middle distance runner where he won numerous CIS medals, set a school record and was the team captain for his final three years. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, OR where, at the same time, he completed his Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Science.

 Dr. Scott uses an evidence-based, diversified approach to care that includes a number of different techniques to aid his patients. Along with manual therapy, he uses Graston, Activator methods, numerous modalities and is full body trained in Active Release Technique (ART®). He has a keen interest in working with all individuals struggling with pain or dysfunction and is eager to provide long-lasting relief. Regardless of activity level, from weekend warrior to elite athlete, personal injury, motor vehicle accidents or workers compensation claims, Dr. Scott’s wealth of knowledge and expertise can get you back to your better-functioning self!

Dr. Ramia Narayanan, AuD, RAUD, RHIP

Dr. Narayanan graduated with a Doctorate in Audiology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been practicing for the past 11 years( Bangalore, India; Boston - USA) and in Squamish for the past 3 years. Patient care and comfort is her top priority. She is passionate about hearing health and understands the diverse needs of her patients. Dr. Narayanan believes that the most important step with aural rehabilitation is the follow-up care after hearing aid fittings and is committed to making the transition as easy as possible for her patients.

Stephanie Lillico, RMT

Stephanie's path and passion for health and wellness began in Ottawa, where she studied Massage and Nutrition before moving to Nelson, BC to further her skills in a spa setting. Inspired to finish her Massage Therapy training, Stephanie completed the 3000 hour Registered Massage Therapy Diploma program at the Okanagan College of Massage Therapy in 2010.

Her treatment style is quite diverse, and she prides herself on being able to customize her treatment to suit each patient's needs.  Stephanie combines many different techniques including, but not limited to, myofascial therapy, neuro-muscular therapy, positional release, visceral work, cranial sacral therapy, reflexology, range of motion exercises, and active and passive stretching.

Stephanie is very adamant about involving her clients in the treatment process through education about lifestyle, posture, and teaching home care exercises such as stretching, strengthening and hydrotherapy.

Her passions include hanging with her boys, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, yoga, painting, gardening, nutrition and music.

Sharyl Johnson

Sharyl to the Lower Mainland from Alberta when she was 17, and has lived in a few BC communities since then. Having always had a curiosity about how the body works, and stays healthy, she began her career in Medical Laboratory Science in 1976 and retired from that in 2015. She has also explored a variety of interests in Alternative Health fields, and became a certified practitioner in Reiki and in Cranial Sacral therapy in the early 90’s.

Moving to be closer to family, Sharyl arrived in Pemberton in 2015, and immediately loved the area for its beauty, its integration with nature, and its friendly vibe. She loves being an Ohma to her grandchildren in Whistler and Quebec. She is an avid meditator, gardener, walker, hiker and yoga enthusiast. And now will be happy to meet you in reception as you move forward in your wellness journey.
